Undercroft, Dunnington
The clients wished to replace an aging conservatory with a single storey kitchen and dining room extension, they also required a new home working space. The clients were also keen to enhance the local natural biodiversity though modern sustainable building solutions.
The resulting extensions are sympathetic to the existing house while adding contemporary details to the property including large sliding doors and a striking overhanging canopy, providing a covered seating area. The extension has a green roof to provide an additional habitat for wildlife. The garden office space is attached to the existing garage and provides a quiet space for working with views of the garden.
