Kirk House

Constructed in the 1990s, this building was originally an office building built into the slope of the site. The project brief was to convert the building into luxury apartments, in this desirable part of York, close to the Railway Station and City Centre. The solution delivers 22 apartments over 4 floors. These include a number of duplex apartments benefitting from their own front door to the lower level, while the remainder of the new homes are accessed from a new lobby area, with a new entrance canopy feature to be included. The penthouse apartments also benefit from private roof terrace areas with views of York Minster. The project has involved careful consideration of technical requirements, together with working closely with the developer and sales agent to deliver a successful scheme.
